Paint quantities, then priced

Paint quantity comes off the surface area, the number of coats, and the paint's spread rate (it covers less on rough or porous surfaces, and a primer plus two top coats is a different sum to a single re-coat). Doors, windows and trims change the maths again.

Toolie works out the litres for the walls, ceiling, trim or exterior from the area and the coats, allowing for the spread rate, and prices the paint and the labour off a real NZ pricebook as part of the job.

It’s part of the quote, not a separate tool

In Toolie this isn’t a one-off calculator — it feeds the actual priced quote and the build programme. Describe the job or drop in a PDF plan and Toolie runs the take-off, applies NZ site intelligence and prices it off a real NZ pricebook.
